My Bio
Welcome to my little corner of DeviantArt! In September of 2014 I decided I wanted to create a comic book. It's funny how one little thought can lead to other bigger thoughts and now I am investing time in pursuing the completion of my original comic book idea along with creating new pieces of art. I hope you enjoy your visit and please check back to see what new things I am working on.

For personal reasons I've decided not to finish the challenge. I did do my thirty minutes today working on changing the pose for one of the characters on page 22 of the SGF comic.  I also roughed out the other character poses for the panel. My main goal for starting the challenge was to pick a story and get some momentum going for it. I accomplished this and will continue to work the series.

thanks for the watch!
Thanks for being awesome! :)
December got crazy and I didn't work on the flatting challenge I had set for myself.  That's ok because I still accomplished a lot behind the scenes.  I'm working on making 2016 a fantastic year!
Wouldn't you say that drawlloween really helps you get to another level? I noticed your work developing with it... it really gave me a good creative workout. I didn't complete them all but as far as I got, it was worth it. Cheers
Thanks for the watch, phix701.  You have a great gallery!  Drawlloween was definitely a great artistic workout and I would like to think my skills did improve.  I'm thinking of doing a similar challenge for improving my skills at flatting colors in December.  Wanna do it as well?  I'll be taking my Drawlloween b/w pictures and doing the flats for them.
What do n you mean by flatting?
I'm still learning the basics about flatting in hopes that it will speed up my production.  But the bare bones is that a person selects different areas of a drawing and fills them with a base color.  The colorist can then go in with a magic wand tool and change or finish out the colors.  Here's a video on flatting that I found helpful.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4Qg6S…
